The problem with a bigger frame and bigger wheels for a 50cc engine is that acceleration and top speed will be negatively affected (and such a small engine will look strange in a large frame).

On the other hand, there have been 50cc retro Honda racers produced fairly recently: the CB50 Dream (based on the original CB50). I suppose you could modify one if you found one, but that would mean having to rebuild all of the suspension, and, again, add a lot of weight.

Personally, I though it looked great stock when I saw one in person.
